I cannot get through to the Microsoft Update site to download any of the security updates, as evidenced by the fact that they are STILL RUNNING SERVICE PACK 2! It is a XP Home addition machine. Here is the techguy sysinfo:

It always fails returning an "unknown error" while downloading files :"servers.def.vpx", "prod-pgm.vpx" or virus def files. Really zero chance. Contacted Avast about it, after it happened. They said it was not possible. Must have been magic :-/ I tried uninstalling and reinstalling WSUS, and in the Add Roles Wizard, when I add WSUS back, it gives the error: Installation failed. The update could not be found. There may be a network connection issue. However, ipconfig /all has the correct settings. Internet Explorer loads up google, bing, and any other website fine. Any ideas?
